Richard Nicholson recorded his third solo album on Sticky in 1992. Richard currently continues his songwriting and fine art in Spain. Never afraid to look on the darker side, 'Ruckus' contains poetry which swims headlong into the contradictions of the unconscious, unflinchingly dredging up images of breakdown and loss. While the focus of attention in these songs is relentlessly turned inwards, the effect is often beautiful, and never mawkish or self-pitying.
